2008-10-19: Fourth release of gSky Digest published, version 0.4. This release adds favorite locations feature, as well as a database of world cities to ease setup of geographic coordinates of the user.

2008-01-11: Third release of gSky Digest published, version 0.3. The release contains mainly performance improvements, as well as introduction of system tray notifications - for now only sunrises and sunsets, but more to come in further versions.

2007-11-29: Second release of gSky Digest published, version 0.2. The release contains mainly feature enhancements, most notably lunar eclipses, and some bugfixes.

2007-10-22: SesoLibre initiative places gSky Digest on it's CD compilation devoted to astronomy, together with Celestia, Stellarium, Atlas Virtual de La Luna and Nasa World Wind.

2007-09-24: Started project homepage: http://gskydigest.sourceforge.net.

2007-09-04: Softpedia.com publishes a short review of gSky Digest, also gives a "no-spyware no-adware no-viruses" certificate to it.

2007-09-02: First release of gSky Digest published, version 0.1. The release tops on 21 months of development.
